FAQ
Affiliate program FAQ
When and how do affiliates get paid?
Commissions are paid monthly via PayPal, with a $25 minimum payout. Payments cover the previous month's confirmed commissions after the standard refund window. You'll add your PayPal address when you sign up in the affiliate dashboard.
What counts as a referral?
Any new paying customer who clicks your unique affiliate link and subscribes within 60 days. Our tracking cookie lasts 60 days, so even if they take a few weeks to decide, you still get credit. You earn 30% of every payment they make, every month, for as long as they stay subscribed.
Can I run paid ads?
Yes on content, email, social, and video ads (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). No bidding on the "Sumline" brand keyword or close variants on Google Ads, Bing, or any search platform. This protects the brand and keeps affiliate economics sustainable for everyone.
Are self-referrals allowed?
No. You cannot use your own affiliate link to sign up for your own Sumline subscription. Self-referrals are automatically detected and voided. This applies to accounts under your name, your business, or your household.
